Earn Your Private Pilot License
The Private Pilot License (PPL) is the most basic pilot certificate
issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It allows you
to fly single-engine airplanes for personal transportation and
recreation.
Minimum Requirements
To earn your PPL, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

Be at least 16 years old (training can start earlier!)

Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language

Hold a valid medical certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) or meet the BasicMed requirements

Complete at least 40 hours of flight training, including 20 hours of dual instruction and 20 hours of solo flight

Pass a written aeronautical knowledge test and a practical flight test
Our Training
We use a 1962 Beechcraft Musketeer for our private pilot training. This aircraft is known for its stability and spaciousness, making it an ideal platform for learning to fly.
Cost
The cost of earning your PPL varies depending on the number of flight hours you require. However, here is a general estimate of the costs involved:

Instructor fee: $60 per hour
Additional Costs
In addition to the above, there are some additional costs associated with earning your PPL, such as:

Headset: $100 to $1,000
